Governor Ayodele Fayose was captured on camera on live television on Wednesday, shedding tears and revealing his bitter ordeal in the hands of security agents during a rally in Ekiti.
The Governor of Ekiti State, on Wednesday broke down in tears on national TV, continuously wailing, “I am in pains, I am in severe pains”.
He said: “They (the police) are beating anybody who has any sign of PDP on them. They are not picking our calls; they’ve made up their minds to do this evil.
“I am in pain, I am in severe pain. I can’t turn this neck anymore. If anything happens to me, the Inspector-General of Police should be held accountable.”

Fayose in a video shared by Channels, pleaded in tears that the International Community should to come to help as ‘Nigeria and Ekiti State is in trouble’.
The Governor claimed that so many Teachers and Okada Riders in the state have been arrested by the Police. He added: “I am in pain but I prefer to bear these pains because of you. I plead with the international community, Nigeria is in trouble, Ekiti is in trouble.”
“Please arise and stand for justice. They have arrested so many teachers, they have arrested so many Okada (motorcycle) riders. They have arrested so many PDP members.”
